EOS assisted UniCredit and BPER Banca in a project finance green loan in favor of Chiron Energy for the construction of 5 solar plants located in northern Italy.
The financing - worth € 30 million with guarantee from SACE, certified according to the Green Loan Principles and beneficiary of funds from the European Investment Bank (EIB) dedicated to the energy transition - covered a portfolio of 5 greenfield photovoltaic plants to be built in Veneto, Lombardy and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with an overall capacity of about 36 MW.
EOS acted as Technical Advisor to the Banks, performing Technical Due Diligence, including analysis of permits, contracts, technical specifications, and green loan compliance.
