EOS assisted the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in a €97 million financing transaction for FERA SRL – Fabbrica Energie Rinnovabili Alternative and BYOM S.r.l., to develop the 'Vento di Vino 2' wind farm in the municipality of Mazara del Vallo (TP).
The green loan, signed by EIB, Natixis, and Libeccio (a special purpose vehicle formed through a joint venture between FERA and BYOM), will support the construction of the 'Vento di Vino 2' wind park (installed capacity over 44.8 MW), benefiting from incentives under the Ministerial Decree of July 4, 2019. It also includes the refinancing of the 'Vento di Vino 1' wind park (approx. 24 MW), in operation since 2011 under the former Green Certificates scheme (now GRIN).
EOS managed the Technical Due Diligence activities for the Banks through a multidisciplinary team of experts who contributed to achieving the project’s goals.
